Chef & Brew ~ Dessert

味道还是淡了点

this is from the can and we find it kinds diluted...

没感受到火山的爆发力

也不觉得有什么特别...

dun really like it

find it kinda too sweet and nothing special

卖像讨好味道很难解释
喜欢榴槤的都会喜欢吧

taste? durian lovers would love it too ~

今天我去了 JHP (或这里) 和 Nigel 聊了一下

他说之前我吃的两样甜品都是他们供应的

原来 Chocolate Lava Ala Mode 是需要加热的

可惜那天我吃的并没有加热所以不好吃

i happened to be at JHP (or here) today and spoken to Nigel and found out that actually the two desserts i had earlier at Chef & Brew are actually by JHP...

Nigel also said that the Chocolate Lava Ala Mode should be warmed unfortunately mine was not therefore the taste is not as good as it is supposed to be ~

无意中发现的天然色素娘惹糕
吸引我的眼光的是它们的颜色
觉得颜色很特别
原来都是采用天然植物色素上色的娘惹糕
很特别...
I found these nyonya kuih with natural plant coloring at a coffee shop in sec 17, PJ
what attracted me was the colors of the kuih
they are so special and very different from what i used to see

一盒里面有三片 (RM2)
不止好看也很好吃哦...
there are three pieces of nyonya kuih in a box for RM2
they not only look good they taste good too ~

也有卖别的糕点和咖哩卜 (一个RM1.30)

里面有鸡蛋的.....
Other than Nyonya kuih there are other cakes and also curry puff with egg(RM1.30/pc)

顺便要了一张名片~
i got a name card for just-in-case

in case i need to order these ....

朋友介绍一个吃西式早餐的好地方

just fill up the quantity and hand it to the cashier

btw for chicken frankfurter one portion consists of two sausages

只要填一张很简单的表格就可以拿到这个10%优惠卡

just fill up a very simple form and this is the 10% discount card

i selected chicken frankfurter (x 2), turkey ham, scrambled eggs, baked beans, grilled tomato and mushrooms

first time filling up the order chit and i tot one portion of the chicken frankfurter = 1 sausage

since i like them so much i ordered 2 portion

and ended up with four of them...

the mushroom is so tasty ~

去到那儿只有叉烧和烧鸡而已

烧肉都被订完了~

It had been a long time since i last visited this chicken rice shop in section 17 Petaling Jaya

and since it is kinda last minute i din call up for booking

therefore we only get char siew and roast chicken no siew yok...

when i met James, i asked him your hp number still the same ?

he said still the same lar, u ah how many 30 days u din come d?

i told him yalor busy leh heheheee......

so his hp number still the same

next trip must remember to call him in advance before i go there ~

鸡肉香菇派 ~ Chicken pie by Fat Boy Bakes

终于尝到 Fat Boy Bakes 这个很好吃又超大的鸡肉香菇派
需要早两天的预订
里面的料可是用一只鸡的鸡肉和香菇做成的
整个鸡肉香菇派的直径大概是七寸多一点儿
RM60 的价钱很值得哦
特点就是嘛……要用电子邮件来预订的哦
这可是我第一次吃到用电子邮件来订的食物…

真的要谢谢 L 和 SW 的帮忙
都是他们负责预订和把鸡肉香菇派拿回家的~
I finally got a chance to try this very popular gigantic chicken pie by Fat Boy Bakes
It is made with one whole chicken and the pie is slightly more than 7 inches in diameter
It is worth the price of RM60
And this is the first time I tried ordering food through email….
Thanks to L & SW for making the arrangement to order and to pick up the chicken mushroom pie from Bangsar ~
