五福门大饭店 ~ Restoran Rainbow Palace

到吉隆坡的五福门大饭店吃晚餐...
十个位的套餐
大约是 RM500
因为不必出钱的所以没问...

Set dinner for 10 at abt RM500
since i am not paying so din really find out how much it is...

先淋上酱料:
the plum sauce and oil....



在把海蛰加上去:
add the jelly fish....



开动咯.... 大家一起捞
Everybody work together....



味道还不错...
tasted not bad...





特式四热荤:

最特别的是这可可骨
就是炸过的排骨淋上可可酱... 很特别也很好吃

加点醋:
add some vinegar...





招牌红曹鱼:

very fresh fish
and the meat is sweet and smooth...





南乳沙皮猪:
很受欢迎的一道菜式

很奇怪的名称

the chicken had absorbed all aroma and flavour from the herbs... very delicious





蒜茸港奶白:
Stir-fried Hong Kong Veggie:





腊味炒香饭:
很香的炒饭
可是没看到什么腊味...
Fried Rice with Wax Meat:
very flavoursome but din see any wax meat...







马蹄黄金露:
味道怪怪的...
招待员说是玉米和老黄瓜煲的糖水
Golden Water Chestnut Soup:
tasted weird...
according to the waitress this is a combinatin of corn and old cucumber







美点齐双辉:
Mochi and Mini Lotus Bao:

i didn't know rainbow palace still exists! as a kid, i would be very happy to attend wedding dinners here cos the dishes are very good (and expensive)...ribs with choco chips? sweet and savoury...very interesting...

the poultry dish looks like beggar's chicken, sounds like beggar's chicken, but is it really beggar's chicken?

Maybe it is Begger Chicken, but for Chinese during CNY probably they need a more "presentable" name for the dish... :p
