Latest Recipe @ Le Meridien, Kuala Lumpur

晚餐该去 Imperial 的 Essence 或是 Le Meridien 的 Latest Recipe ?
结果选了距离比较近的...
RM78++一个位的自助晚餐

and the one nearer to us won...

新鲜又大的带子被切成小块蛮可惜的

很好看也很好吃

各式小菜 (tapas) 和甜品:
我们觉得那有六个格子的红色盘子还蛮好用的
只需把选中的小菜或是甜品都放进格子里就行了非常方便
而味道方面好吃的只有那一小片的法式歌劇院蛋糕 (左上角的)
*TAPAS 是什么?
飲酒在西班牙人的飲食文化中佔有很重要的地位,因為西班牙的作習和一般國家很不一樣,加上悠閒的生活步調,讓西班牙人有很多閒暇時間可以待在小酒館裡話家常。喝酒當然不能缺少下酒菜,在這樣的風氣薰陶下,Tapas 就成了西班牙料理中的特色之一 。
TAPAS,是西班牙的開胃菜也是下酒菜,或者有人把它當作是主餐之間的點心。一開始是酒館裡用小碟盛來的小菜,給客人下酒吃的,西班牙人最喜歡一邊喝酒,一邊享用小菜。 一直發展到現在,種類越衍越多,甚至已經變成了主餐了。Tapas 在西班牙的飲食習慣中佔有很重要的位置。西班牙人的午、晚餐用餐時間和其他國家很不一樣,一般的午餐時間是下午 2-4 點,晚上 9-11 點才用晚餐,中間漫長的休息時間喜歡到酒館喝啤酒,這時候 Tapas 便成了增進喝酒氣氛的要角了,對西班牙人來說,這樣才是懂得生活。有些酒館,是隨酒附送 Tapas 的,在這些酒館內可以盡情享受西班牙人的熱情。
Tapas以鹹的食物為主,有冷熱盤之分,肉類和海鮮或蔬菜類都有。冷盤,多搭配麵包,佐以各種 餡料及橄欖油,加上洋蔥末、蛋黃層,十分可味開味。熱食部份則多為油炸類,海鮮及肉類皆有,如炸雞翅或炸墨魚等。蔬食類的Tapas則多以清蒸、拌醋,或者是佐以奶油等。番茄青椒拌章魚是當地相當受歡迎的一道Tapas。
肉類的 Tapas,則以排類、肉串等,另一個值得一提的是西班牙人和台灣人一樣都會食用動物內臟,這也是西班牙人有別於一般歐陸國家的地方。有些酒館因某一樣招牌Tapas做出了名聲,索性就成了專賣店,就連店名也都以這個招牌Tapas為名,客人只需點飲料,便可直接上這道招牌,故份量也比較大。
西班牙 Tapas 的種類如此繁多,以經和主餐沒有什麼兩樣了,足見西班牙人是多麼重視飲酒的氣氛。

"炒"雪糕 ~
"炒"的意思是把两种不一样口味的雪糕放在铁板上搅匀
要不然就没有必要"炒"了... 这是那厨师说的 Photobucket

"mixed" means unless u want to mix two ice cream flavours
otherwise no point... according to the guy manning the station

this is the no-point-mixing green tea ice cream with lots and lots of raisins:
the green tea flavour is exactly how i like it to be... yummy

somehow, i knew you will review this place soon (since you've been dining in hilton kl sentral)...hehe! so much variety! you didn't try the indian food corner? read that it's quite good...so far, my fave is still shangri-la's buffet :)

hmm sounds quite disappointing.. flaky sashimi somehow doesnt tickle my fancy haha..

but theres seriously a whole load of desserts though..

so was that it or was there even more food u didnt try?

i skipped the Indian and Malay corner and i think having chicken rice at buffet is like kinda weird... while the tim sum does not attract my attention
not forgetting the salad
basically that's about all ~ to me, probably this will be the first and the last time until then...

Wah...got slipper lobsters ar...RM78++ are not expensive wor :)
