大发乌鲁音面家 ~ Restoran Tua Huat

这家店卖的是著名的乌鲁音面条 ~
停车位在午餐时间还蛮容易找的
如果不是停在店前路边 也可以停在大路旁
店的对面在斜坡上的就是 卡娜咖哩屋餐室
A restaurant serving popular Ulu Yam noodles ~
parking is quite convenient even during lunch time
either along the road right in front of the shop or along the main road
opposite the shops on top of the slop is Kanna Curry House







凉茶 (RM1.30):
有没有冰都一样价钱...
Herbal Drink (RM1.30):
with or without ice also same price...





五香春卷和西刀鱼饼 (RM8):
我觉得春卷的馅比较幼没有嚼劲
鱼饼就好吃多了 少许的弹性 味道好好
Deep Fried Spring Roll & Fish Cake (RM8):
i find the filling of deep fried spring roll too fine, therefore lack of chew
however the fish cake is a little springy and tasted really good





卤面 (RM5.50):
每张桌子上都摆这一瓶黑醋
要多少就自己调味咯...
Loh Mee (RM5.50):
a bottle of black vinegar is placed on each table
you can add as much as you like into this loh mee for extra flavour





扣肉炒米粉 (RM10):
除了自家做的扣肉还有包菜和不少香脆的猪油渣
米粉充分吸收了扣肉的味道 幸好炒得比较干吃起来不会满口油
味道很香也很好吃

Braised Pork Fried Mee Hoon (RM10):
the mee hoon is fried with home made braised pork, cabbage and lots of deep fried pork lard
love the crispy pork lard bits
the mee hoon is not soaking in oil but all the yummy flavour ~
this smells and tastes really good
i enjoyed this very much!





福建炒伊面 (RM5.50):
也可以选择其他的面条
用料还蛮多的: 猪肉, 虾只, 乌贼, 包菜和很多猪油渣
味道好好吃哦!
Hokkien Style Yee Mee (RM5.50):
they also serve this in different type of noodles
tasty with lots of ingredients like pork slices, prawns, squids, cabbage and lots of deep fried pork lard... yummy!! Photobucket

台湾坊 ~ Taiwan Street @ Tropicana City Mall

又到 Tropicana City Mall 去咯 ~
这一次是到顶楼
靠近 GSC 电影院的台湾坊
Back to Tropicana City Mall ~
this time we are at the top floor
Taiwan Street which is located next to GSC cinemas









珍珠红奶茶 (RM4.80):
味道淡了点...
Red Pearl Milk Tea (RM4.80):
a little too light for our taste...





担担面 (RM8.90):
用料有肉碎, 鱼丸, 卤蛋, 豆芽和韮菜
很奇怪的配搭 和一点味道也没有的汤
才发觉这里没猪肉的哦...
Tang Tang Noodles (RM8.90):
served with minced meat, fish balls, braised egg, bean sprouts and chives
a very weird combination and the soup is tasteless
we then realised this is a pork free restaurant...





云吞面 (RM7.90):
还是一样没有味道的汤
云吞皮非常的厚!
Taiwanese Wanton Noodles (RM7.90):
served in similar tasteless soup
and the wanton skin is so thick! Photobucket





五香牛肉面 (RM10.80):
用的也是那无味道的汤和一样的面条
幸好五香牛肉味道浓郁而且份量蛮多的
所以味道比之前那两道好...
Braised Beef Noodles (RM10.80):
it is the same type of tasteless soup and noodle
but with the addition of generous and chuncky braised beef it tasted slightly better that the other two...

海外天大饭店 ~ Restoran Oversea (Imbi) Sdn Bhd (2)

最近在海外天大饭店用餐时被介绍一道很出色的菜肴和一道甜品
Lately i was being introduced to a very delicious dish and a dessert at Oversea Restaurant
Jalan Imbi, KL



筋骨茅根煲 (RM25):
Claypot tendon with Imperata cylindrica (RM25):




近近看:
肥油脂肪都去掉了
也没肉的哦
只留下粘在骨头上和关节处的筋
味道香浓 吃起来有点粘粘胶胶的感觉 Photobucket
酱汁也一样美味哦!!
如果要享用这道筋骨茅根煲要记得先打电话去预订咯
因为很快就卖完了!
Close up:
all the fats are trimmed
dun expect any meat too
only the tendon left on the bones... so gummy
love the gravy too it is sticky and flavoursome Photobucket

椰子果冻 (RM6.50):
大概饭碗般的大小
椰子里的果冻软滑有着微微的椰香味

Coconut Jelly (RM6.50):
about the size of a rice bowl
the jelly is soft with coconut fragrance
refreshing and delicious...

广记酿豆腐 (招牌粥) ~ Restoran Yong Tau Foo Khong Kee

位于八打灵再也, 百乐镇, Giant 对面

自助式:
先去选食物 再找位置坐下
很快的食物就会送到
先付钱 就可以开动咯
Self-service:
choose the food first and place your order
food will be delivered to your table shortly
pay upon arrival of food





咖哩猪肠粉 (RM2):
满满的咖哩汁撒上不少的炸葱头
味道不错 一点都不辣的
Curry Chee Cheong Fun (RM2):
soaking in curry with lots of fried onions
it is flavoursome but not spicy at all





招牌粥 (RM4):
RM0.50 加皮蛋
大碗的是 RM5
上面的是蔴油, 青葱和胡椒粉
Porridge (RM4):
RM0.50 for additional of century egg
RM5 for a bigger bowl of porridge
topped with sesame oil, shallots and pepper




用料还蛮多的: 花生, 切丝/片的干蚝, 菜, 鱿鱼, 蘑菇...
粥煮得绵绵的 很够味很好吃
很够饱!
lots of ingredients in the porridge: peanut, slices/strips of dried oysters, veggie, dried octopus, mushroom...
the porridge is smooth and tasty

酿豆腐 (RM1/件):
我最喜欢的是酿腐皮, 白豆腐和苦瓜
他们也卖酿茄子, 羊角豆, 鱼丸, 鸡蛋等等...
还有炸水饺

Yong Tau Foo (RM1/pc):
my favourites here are stuffed beancurd skin, white beancurd and bitter gourd
they also serve others like stuffed brinjal, okra, fish ball, egg etc...
and deep fried dumpling too
they are generous on the quality and ingredients
so delicious!!

合记海鲜饭店 ~ Hup Kee Seafood Restaurant

老字号的饭店
印象最深刻的是那斜斜的店面 Photobucket
a very old shop
and the slanting shop front is so unique







炸咸鸡 (RM16):
就是把盐焗鸡拿去炸
香脆的外皮和嫩嫩又多汁的肉
咸咸的非常好吃 Photobucket
Fried Salted Chicken (RM16):
this is very delicious!!
the chicken is crispy at the outside with juicy meat at the inside
tasted a little salty and flavoursome





亚叁鲳鱼 (RM28):
招牌菜哦
份量蛮大的
配菜有黄梨, 蕃茄, 茄子, 羊角豆和长豆
鱼很新鲜 亚叁的味道带点酸酸的不会辣
这一道菜我就可以吃完一碟白米饭了
Assam Pomfret (RM28):
one of the signature dish serves here Photobucket
portion is very big with lots of ingredients such as pineapple, tomato, brinjal(eggplant), okra and long beans
the fish is fresh while the gravy tangy and a little spicy
with this dish i can finish one big plate of rice





牡丹虾 :
也是这里的招牌菜哦
八粒 RM12
就是切成条状的芋头和虾一起炸
芋条脆脆的而虾只却很有弹性和多汁
要趁热吃哦
Deep Fried Prawns with Yam:
another signature dish here
RM12 for 8 pcs
the yam pieces are very crispy and the prawn is succulent
best eaten when it is still hot





上汤苋菜 (RM10):
蛮多颜色的
除了苋菜还有切丝火腿、蘑菇、鸡蛋、咸蛋、皮蛋和虾米
汤头很甜 有虾米的鲜味
可是不是大家都能接受的味道
Veggie (RM10):
very colorful veggie
served with slices of ham, mushroom, egg, salted egg, century egg and dried shrimps
the soup is sweet with the fragrance of dried shrimps
but not accepted by all as some find it just too much

拾八风味 ~ Room Eighteen @ Tropicana City Mall (3)

之前尝了这里的 芝蔴糊 觉得味道好极了
这一次想试试别的糖水
可惜太失望了 ~
After my previous trip here enjoying the creamy delicious black sesame cream
i thought this time i should try something else for dessert
however i had a very disappointing tong shui @ Room Eighteen ~



红豆糖水 (RM5.80):
加了不少的西米
可惜太淡了没有味道
虽然明知价钱不便宜 还是喝不下
Red Bean Tong Shui (RM5.80):
served with some sago pearls
it is very diluted and tasteless...
i cant even get myself to finish it





我们发觉服务也差了很多
当我觉得糖水的味道不对想通知招待员时
却没有一个肯过来
连领班也抄远路避开我们这一桌 太没礼貌了!!
Btw service is really bad too
i tasted the soup and thought of informing the staff about it
but after waving my hands for a few times nobody seems to come near
even the captain took a longer route to bypass our table, how rude!! Photobucket
