Restoran Chong Thoong Kee @ Taman Tun

Located at Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTTDI) behind the wet market
since all the roads are one-way for that area parking could be a hassle
it is either you are very lucky to get a parking bay or you have to go another round to park at the open carpark of the wet market...

The soya sauce + chili padi for the noodle and the chili sauce for the poached chicken:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Ipoh Hor Fun with Shredded Chicken ~ the dried version (RM4.50):
the koay teow is smooth and not too soft just the right texture...
served with lots of shredded chicken and prawns
a bit on the oily side but flavoursome ~

The soup version (RM4.50):
very sweet and clear soup
with generous serving of shredded chicken and prawns
the koay teow is equally good... Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

滑鸡腿 (RM4.50):
The poached chicken drumstick (RM4.50):
drumstick had to be really smooth...
however i find this too oily for my liking
see the oil under the chicken

My dad brought me here before. Tastewise pretty good but that was ages ago. Must go back one day.

oh my dad brought me here when i came back in june this yr, and yeah i agree the chicken's a lil' oily for my liking.

btw, on a totally diff note, i went to departure lounge today!!! i remember reading abt it in ur blog a few times, so i thought i had to try it. had the special pink guava latte-- not bad lah, something diff :) my dad had the all-day bfast but he didn't like the chicken frankfurt. as for mom, her almond steamer was a lil too sweet. however i kinda like the ambience tho ;)
