士林台湾小吃 ~ Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks

不是新的地方
开张也蛮久下了
可以在大多数的购物中心找到
这家是位于八打灵再也的 One Utama
Not a new eating place...
been around for quite sometime now
and can be found in most shopping mall
this is the outlet located in One Utama, Petaling Jaya



常常都客满...
今天我终于有位子坐下好好的享受那驰名的蚵仔面線了 Photobucket
其实我们也只早了五分钟而已
之后就站满了午餐的食客
everytime i pass by this place it is always full of people
and today i finally get a seat to enjoy the mee sua here
actually we were like 5 minutes earlier than the rest
after which the small outlet is packed with lunch crowd ~









蚵仔面線 (RM6):
采用5 种主要配料,以小火燜熬面線的濃稠高湯。再配搭形体細致綿密,手感干爽不黏糊的手制面線。最后加入豪量的蚵仔和切絲的雞肉,即可盛出。熱騰騰的手工蚵仔面線,不僅鮮味四溢,吃起來更加甘甜可口。
建议用汤匙食用...
可能比较美味也可能是环保因素 (即用即丢的竹筷很不环保哦!)
我们先把面线和料搅均
高汤很浓稠粘粘的
蚵仔很新鲜可惜每碗只有三只
我觉得这碗蚵仔面線很不错哦...
Handmade Oyster Mee Sua (RM6):
A special stock comprising 5 core ingredients, brewed over a slow flame, forms the soup base for the imported mee sua. Only handmade mee sua is used for its superior flavour and texture. A generous amount of oysters and shredded chicken is added before serving. The Handmade Oyster Mee Sua is best eaten while hot.
This is recommended to eat with the spoon
either for the taste or to save the enviroment (reduced the use of disposal chopsticks)
we start by mixing all the ingredients with the mee sua
the broth is thick and sticky
the oysters are very fresh, however we only get three each

肉松蛋餅 (RM5.50):
一粒新鮮的雞蛋放入油鍋中微微浸煎,并撒上爆香的進口洋蔥饼,直至稍微卷曲蓬松略脆,再鋪上一層厚厚的雞肉松,后往前推滾卷成圓筒狀,切成小餅塊即可端上。進食時沾上特制醬汁,更是可口美味。
卖相不错...
肉松的份量也不少
可是饼皮的外层很像塑料
咬起来有点韧...
Crispy Floss Egg Crepe (RM5.50):
A whole, fresh egg lightly panfried and topped with an imported spring onion crepe. The crepe is allowed to puff slightly to achieve a somewhat crispy exterior. A generous amount of crispy chicken floss is placed on top and the crepe is rolled up and cut to bite sized pieces before being served. The Crispy Floss Egg Crepe may be eaten with its accompanying sauce for an enhanced taste.
looks really good...
the portion of meat floss is generous
but the crepe is kinda plasticky therefore the outer layer is a little chewy





甜不辣 (RM5.50):
將手制的海鮮面團加入了特別秘方后混合均勻,揉捏投擲,直至韌度与彈性适中為准。然后將其分切成平薄小塊狀,放入油鍋炸至膨脹并呈金黃色,撈出瀝干,即可待食。配与我們特制的香粉,將為這道美味的香脆小吃,劃上了無比完美的句號。
对我来说很像炸面粉片
没有海鲜的味道
而胡椒的味道有点过重
吃过之后满口都是胡椒味...
Seafood Tempura (RM5.50):
Handmade from seafood paste infused with secret ingredients, the paste mix is painstakingly kneaded and tossed until the correct consistency is obtained. It is then flattened into small pieces and scalded with hot oil before being cut into strips and deep fried. A sprinkle of our specially blended spice powder completes this delicious and crispy Taiwanese delight!
looks like thin pieces of flour to me
cant taste the seafood and the peppery taste is too strong which leaves a aftertaste of pepper on the tongue...

Interesting, is this in Malaysia?

Once, I have actually lived in ShiLin of Taipei. I rememeber a vendor wondering the neighbor yelling "Oa~mi~suaaa~~"

I costed 15NT and I burned my tongue many times trying the good stuff.
