Kedai Makanan Laut Yong Tat @ Teluk Gong

Photobucket
Our relatives from Hong Kong are here for a few weeks
so for the weekend we went all the way to Klang for seafood
at first when we heard that we will be eating at Teluk Gong we thought we will be eating some where near Coconut Flower
but this restaurant is further up on the left of the main road without turning into the side road towards Coconut Flowers and the rest of the seafood restaurants

As it is off the main road this restaurant can be easily located
it occupies two shoplots and parking is very convenient since it is the only seafood restaurant for the entire row of shop houses

There are 21 of us so we occupied two tables...
the peanuts, two plates per table (RM3):

因为饮料的单是总数 RM47.30
Young Coconut :
not sure how much as the baverage bill comes as one lump sum of RM47.30
which includes two pots of Chinese tea, plain water, ice water and 8 young coconuts

Fried Bee Hoon with Lalas (RM13):
the signature dish
the bee hoon is dry and fragrant...
with lots and lots of tiny lalas Photobucket

Fried Abalone Mushroom (RM16):
first time we tried this...
i find it surprisingly delicious with shallots and chili

Photobucket
Salted Village Chicken (RM18):
also the signature dish here
with a very unique name in Chinese - Chicken running on the ground
the chicken is tender and juicy
not very salty as we had this without rice

Deep Fried Village Chicken (RM18):
the same type of village chicken is being used
the skin is dry while the meat is tender and flavoursome ~ Photobucket

Steamed Sea Tilapia (RM35):
Never heard of sea tilapia before
the meat is not as thick as those we usually get...
tasted like Sea Bass/Siakap

Fried Crab Kum Heong Style (RM48):
the crabs are quite meaty and of decent size
not too bad but if given a choice i would prefer to have them steamed instead

Steamed Mantis Prawns (RM30):
each one of us get one of these...
they are very fresh and delicious

just peel it from its tail
the chunky meat exposed...

Steamed Pomfret (RM60):
This is the medium size pomfret...
so we have two for a table of 10
very fresh

Fried Hokkien Mee (RM10):
the Klang style...
full of gravy and the type of noodle used are not as thick
we are not used to the wet and soft noodle so most of this left untouched

Photobucket
Crystal Pineapple (RM12):
looks really pale and not appetising at all
but the moment we put it in our mouth we wanted more !!
very sweet and juicy ~
best go without the salt...

Nic :
i heard now the crystal pineapples are very popular in Klang... the only problem is i dunno where to buy them ~ >.<"

"Joe" who is constantly craving ;
for us it is pretty simple: from its tail, seperate the top shell and the bottom legs and pull ~ very easy ^_^
but if it is deep fried should be easier right ? no ? since all the parts are crispy i presume should be easily broken mar... :p

♥ ♡ Alvin ♡ ♥:
the Deep Fried Village Chicken is only dry at the outside... the meat is juicy and tender ~ delicious ^_^

~Christine~:
oh.... maybe the mantis prawns were not fresh ? =.="

ekeng :
go during weekends or public holidays like tmrw ? hahaha...

kent :
as long as it is fresh i am sure it is delicious.... ^_^

TOL / Kenny :
