Dinner @ Steam King Seafood Restaurant
used to be a very busy restaurant packed of customers
but we find them pretty empty and almost all the fish tanks are empty ~
Fried Hong Kong Kai Lan (RM15):
a very good Hong Kong Kai Lan... no chewy fiber
Steamed Red Snapper (RM58):
recommended by the captain
but we find this over steamed...
当我们 (四个位) 叫这道菜时那负责人说两只就够了
Fried Fresh Water Prawns (RM80):
when we ordered the fresh water prawns for four of us the captain actually said two will be enough
so we thought maybe we had ordered some other dishes therefore half a prawn for each of us will be good
all of us got a shock however when we see this!!
the fresh water prawns are so big that each can be cut into four pieces
The meat is so thick and bouncy...
see the size of the prawn's head...
so much larger than our table spoon!
Steamed Egg with Mushrooms and Crab Meat (RM8):
a little disappointed with this
the egg is soft and smooth but the mushrooms and crab meat gravy on top are too starchy...
Red Bean soup:
this is on the house...
full of red bean fragrant with lots of sago too
白米饭/Rice : RM1 / per bowl
铁观音/Chinese Tea: Tie Guan Yin RM6
