品香食家小馆 ~ Restoran Pan Heong @ Batu Caves

位于 Batu Caves
通常都很满座
抵达的时候先向负责人 (就在大门前拿着一个文件夹的) 留个名和多少个位
然后就到事先排好椅子的五脚基坐着等被叫名
我们六个位的等了大概二十分钟
Located at Batu Caves
most of the time it is very crowded
upon arrival just register with the person in charge (holding a file at the main entrance)
and be seated at the chairs arranged along the corridor and wait for your name to be called
it took us about 20min to get a table for 6







青菜 (RM8):
炒得过火了
Veggie (RM8):
the veggie is over-cooked





生虾面 (RM54):
我们选了比较特别的卤面煮法 而不是河粉
卖相看起来颜色很淡 可是味道很好吃!!
可惜的是三只虾 (切成六份) 里 有一只(两份)不怎么新鲜
Sang Har Min (RM54):
for a change we decided to have the loh mee version instead of the koay teow
it looks pale but tasted really good!! Photobucket
unfortunately out of the 3 prawns we had (halved into 6 pieces)
one of them (equal to two pieces) is not fresh
the meat is a little soggy







鱼片粥 (RM14.50):
加了皮蛋的
Fish Porridge (RM14.50):
with additional century egg



粥煮得又绵又滑
还有很多切得厚厚的鱼片呢... Photobucket
the porridge is smooth and creamy
with lots of thickly sliced fish slices too...







扣肉炒米粉 (RM15):
米粉比较油了点
而扣肉的罐头味很重
我们发觉很多张桌的都只吃了米粉而已
Braised Pork Fried Mee Hoon (RM15):
it is a little too oily for our liking
and the "canned" taste of the braised pork is very strong
we also noticed many tables had the meehoon and left the braised pork

May be better to stick to their clean-cut items: porridge with fish or frog meat!

你没有试试他家的滑蛋河真是走宝了~绝对一流,可能是全KL最好吃的滑蛋河~!._.
叫普通款的滑蛋河就好,不必有虾,反正那滑蛋河的精华就在那炒粉和香浓的蛋汁~又便宜又好吃,绝对不可错过~!
