Restoran Yu Ai

Seafood noodles for lunch ~
We usually go to the main shop at Jalan Segambut
but this time we went to the one in SS2
located next to Kayu Nasi Kandar Photobucket

Menu:

Prices are kinda standard
RM15 for small, RM17 for Big
we also notice the ingredients are the same: prawns, slices of fish, mussels, cuttlefish and clams
the only difference would be the soup, either clear soup, curry soup or tom yam soup
with difference choice of noodles...
All of us ordered the small bowl but they are not that small really...

Photobucket
Curry Seafood Noodle:
we get about four prawns, two mussels, some clams and many slices of fish and cuttlefish
for the curry version we also get some toufu-pok
the curry soup is thick and flavoursome
luckily not overly spicy...

Clear Soup Seafood Noodle:
the light version for those who cant take spicy soup
with so much seafood in it the soup is sweet...

Tom Yam Seafood Noodle:
the tom yam soup is very dark in color
sour and spicy at at the same time... full of flavour

The bowl for shells:
an emply bowl is being placed on every table for disposal of shells...
this also shows how big the mussels are ~

a year ago one of us was stunned beyond redemption after paying the price for a bowl of overtanmarinded overoranged tomyam beehoon in Segambut + a final kill of undereating tax, which for him was same same low down sensation as that astronomically super charged one Secret Recipe of a dish of the same name, but of which tasted far superior

Seem expensive but the ingredients made it look worth the money. I am really keen to try the curry version. I go there often whenever I am in town.

The Tom Yam Seafood Noodle looks like something that we would order if we were there. Food is getting expensive lately. Sob sob.
