Mamak Rojak @ Section 17

Located along the main road off Jalan 17/41A, in Section 17, PJ
The low building in pink color at the background is the market... Photobucket

Mobile Rojak and Cendol by the road...

Mamak Rojak (RM4):
This is how it looks like...
The ingredients at the bottom while the gravy in a separate bag is placed on top

pour all the ingredients into the plate:
mamak rojak (or Indian rojak) contains fried dough fritters, bean curds, boiled potatoes, squid, hard boiled egg, bean sprouts and cucumber

with the thick and spicy peanut gravy:

However i find the rojak gravy too mild for my liking...
it is not very spicy too
would have prefer it to be stronger in taste since most of the ingredients are quite plain in taste
according to my colleague the one located off TTDI main road tasted much better but apparently now a different man is selling the rojak there... not quite sure how true is this

this kind of fast food rojak seems to be a hit with the Malay crowd, being tofu bluff filling and tomato sauce-like pretender spicy, then lemak sweetened with the partner sugar cendul. So they are always popular at around RM 5 a head. But we find the taste quite the same , saucy and peanutty & actually nothing great but convenient so we are at a loss why the Queing crowd so thick ! One fine day we will also give a thesis why KFC and Mcd so popular with Malay crowd !
haha
