刚开不久的餐馆~
今天午餐和ST去吃的...
Opened not too long ago
located at 1-U old wing towards the hotel block...
went for lunch with ST
according to her in UK SOHO is something like a red light area :p

用的是超小的茶杯
一小口一小口的喝
味道还蛮香的~

上海一口小笼包 (RM7):

不知道为什么叫上海"一口"小笼包...
难道还有两口的么?

红油牛腩干捞拉面 (RM14):
很多牛肉哦...
拉面很好吃~
La Mian with beef brisket
lots of meat and yummy la mian (ramen)
三黄蛋猪润粥 (RM16):
超大碗的粥
味道也很好~
Three Eggs Pig Liver Congee
i copy the name from the receipt... =.="
what it meant in Mandarin is porridge with egg (normal chicken egg), salted egg, century egg and pig liver
very big portion and taste good !!
没吃到点心...
改天再去过~
no room for tim sum

午餐和她又去 SOHO 吃...
这一次吃的除了小笼包
其他都不一样....
well, we are back
other than the Shanghai Steamed Meat Dumpling
we tried other food...
碧螺春 (RM6):
比不上之前的龙珠花茶...
a different type of greentea
too light for our liking
金鱼冬菇饺 (RM8):
好看而已....

第一碗有焦味...
换一碗新的~
来的时候看不到料的....
Frog Legs Congee
when it was served it has the burnt taste
we requested for change
and when the second bowl arrived it was alright...
翻一翻...
再加姜丝~
姜丝要叫他们给才有的...
it does not come with the ginger
so we asked for it... ^_^

这次吃的是龙蜑(石班鱼)粥 (RM18)
味道还好
没什么见到鱼肉....
this round we had fish porridge
taste good but cant really find the fish...
酱的鱼肉块大概有5块...
about 5 pieces of fish in this size

上个星期和朋友又去了一次~
back again with another friend
他的炸酱面:
his La Mian (ramen) minced pork
i cant remember the name in English...
我的排骨拉面:
my pork rib la mian (ramen)
还有小笼包和这个炸鱔鱼片:
we also order Shanghai Steamed Meat Dumpling and this Crispy Eel
他说东西都比笼的传人好吃
下次不去那边了....
因为他请客
我没拿到收据不知道价钱
只看到总数RM70+
he said food taste better than Dragon-i
since he paid for lunch
i only know the total is about RM70+

赛螃蟹 (RM18):
就是螃蟹肉 (蟹粉) 炒蛋白
在打一粒鸡蛋在上面
上面橙色和褐色的分别是蛋黄和江瑶柱 (干扇贝)
Braised Egg White
funny crab meat was not mentioned at all...
actually this is crab meat with egg white
served with a fresh egg on top
those orange and brown stuff on top is egg yolk and dried scallop
我觉得加些胡椒粉更好味...^_^
i prefer it with some pepper...
腐皮鲜虾肠粉 (RM14)
下次要记得别让他们别把全部的酱油都倒下去
太咸了...可是很好吃哦
Prawn and Beancurd Skin
next time must remember not to let them pour all the sauce in
too salty but yummy.... ^_^
上海鲜肉锅贴 (RM8):
就那三粒
味道普通
觉得有点贵....

晚上先去"新煮意"吃了再去看戏...
well, another meal at Soho...
这一次吃的是朋友介绍的干炒牛河和甜品是高力豆沙
甜品竟然先到... =.="
This round we tried the stir fry beef hor fun and souffle egg white with red bean paste and banana recommended by SW :)
and guess what ? the dessert is served even before we get our tea...=.="
高力豆沙 (RM10):
很简单的中文名竟然有个很长的英文名叫着:
Souffle Egg White with Red Bean Paste and Banana
表皮是用蛋白做的:
又松又软....
the "bun" is made of egg white
very soft and light... :)
里面有一片香蕉和少许的红豆沙:
真的是要来吃爽的...
非常好吃可是吃了不会饱的... :P
a slice of banana inside and very little red bean paste
but that's enough for the taste yum!!
something unique and not filling as in you can have as many as u like and yet not feeling full hehehee.......
黄菊花茶 (RM6):
要浸较长的时间才出味
当我们要走的时候味道就刚刚好... =.="
Golden Chrysanthenum tea
need longer "soaking" time compared to others...
it tasted just nice when we are about to leave...
干炒牛河 (RM16):
来的时候看不到牛肉的...

Erm... can hardly see any beef slices when it is served

还蛮多牛肉的 :D

As i was stirring it i found the egg yolk still in perfect condition...
很努力了...
只看到这些...
咸蛋是根本没看到
不过吃的时候就有咸蛋的香味~
This is the best i can do
eventhough no salted egg in sight
can still taste its presense in the congee/porridge...

you know wat? i was thinking of xiu loong bao in the middle of night while i was studying... suffering~

suddenly craving in the middle of the night ah...
i love the xiu loong bao here but some prefer those at Dragon-i ^_^
