翡翠酒家 ~ Crystal Jade Restaurant

在翡翠酒家吃的晚餐 ~
Dinner @ Crystal Jade, The Gardens


铁观音 (RM6):
Chinese Tea ~ Tie Guan Yin (RM6):

翡翠金牌脆烧肉 (RM16.80):
皮很脆 可是猪肉味重了点
Crystal Jade Roasted Pork (RM16.80):
portion is very small
the skin is crispy with layers of fat but we find the pork taste too strong

翡翠炒饭 (RM20):
很多的虾仁, 鸡蛋和青葱
Crystal Jade Fried Rice (RM20):
with lots of prawns, egg and shallot
the rice is fried till fluffy and fragrant
flavoursome and delicious ~ Photobucket

汉方老姜鸡酒窝 (RM30):
吃到最后一口还是温热的 Photobucket
用了很多姜丝和酒 味道很够很好
虽然是老姜 也不会太辣
Sauteed Chicken with Chinese wine and ginger (RM30):
served in hot stone bowl which keep the dish warm till the very end
lots of ginger and Chinese wine make this dish a winner
even though old ginger is being used but it is not too spicy... yummy!!

瑶柱松菇扒菠菜豆腐 (RM22):
Braised Spinach Beancurd with Dried Scallops & Pine Mushroom (RM22):
generous amount of dried scallops and pine mushrooms
the beancurd is very soft and smooth

passed by their Mid Valley branch yesterday. Their ducks looked really fat juicy and crispy! Any opinions on those?

you must try their char siew sou. but i think only available during dim sum hours. very nice and crispy! :D
