大人餐厅推出了三种粽子
可惜当天有红豆馅的碱水粽卖完了我们没试到

there are three types of dumplings available at Esquire Kitchen
however the alkaline dumpling with red bean paste filling was sold out during our visit
上海粽 (RM5.80):
糯米饭里有咸蛋, 猪肉和蚝干
味道不错...
我们觉得料少了点
Shanghai Zong (RM5.80):
Glutinous rice dumpling with salted egg, pork and dried mussel
it is flavoursome...
but we expected more ingredients in this
广东粽 (RM5.20):
不一样的形状...
Guang Dong Zong (RM5.20):
different in shape...
用料有咸蛋, 猪肉和栗子
少了我喜欢的眉豆 (也叫着 豇豆 )
味道不会太咸
吃起来会有点干 可能用的猪肉不够肥...
this rice dumpling is with salted egg, pork and chestnut
without my fav black-eyed pea a.k.a. cowpea
tasted just right not too salty
but a little dry at the inside probably due to the piece of pork which is too lean...

大人餐厅的咸蛋酥 (RM1.30):
松软的莲蓉馅
酥皮虽然很脆却有点硬
不会油腻或是太甜
我们都很喜欢!
Esquire Kitchen's Salted Egg Pie (RM1.30):
with soft lotus paste
the pastry is a little hard but very crispy
and it is not oily or too sweet
we like it very much!
切开来看很像月饼...
halved it and it looks like mooncake...
