外表一模一样其实有两种口味
我是以它们不同颜色的纸杯来分辨...
Six in a box:
they look the same but actually there are two types of egg tarts here...
i differentiate these two flavours by the paper cup used since they have exactly the same outlook ~





蛋挞/Egg Tart (RM1.30):
这是我们通常吃的...
the normal version...




我很好奇那么薄的饼皮他们是怎么做到的...
蛋馅软滑 碰到的时候还会"颤抖" 可是却有一定的弹性不易碎
不会太甜还有着香香的蛋味 ~
wonder how they made the pastry so thin and cripsy at the edge:
the egg centre is smooth, soft and wobbly
not too sweet with the yummy egg fragrant...





牛油蛋挞/Butter Egg Tart (RM1.50):
外表和普通的蛋挞一模一样
很淡薄的牛油味
吃到口中才尝到淡淡的咸味... 很特别的味道
look exactly the same as the normal egg tart
the butter taste is subtle
with a slight saltiness aftertaste... which makes the taste more exciting




还是一样超薄的饼皮和软滑的蛋馅:

    蛋塔可试试John King，可在Pavilion 1楼找到。那天，我买了棠记的咸蛋酥给好友吃。好友推荐“大人餐厅”的咸蛋酥，昨天试了真的很棒！

    看照片都觉得它的皮很香脆！！
    我也没吃过大人餐厅的蛋挞，每次都看到很多人打包，下次我也要试试着两家的蛋挞了！

    interesting! i never knew tong kee offers the butter version egg tart. must go try already. the smell and salty taste of butter will go well with the tart! ;D

    這個我以前也覺得不錯吃,但是一旦試了怡保某菜市場內的蛋塔就完全比下去了.那檔蛋塔連香港食神滔滔都讚不絕口.
